FosterMore presents the Heart Gallery.

The Heart Gallery is a traveling photographic and audio exhibit created to find forever families for children in foster care. The Heart Gallery of America is a collaborative project of over 120 Heart Galleries across the United States designed to increase the number of adoptive families for children needing homes in our community.

Now, in its fourteenth year, the Heart Gallery model is being replicated in many communities across the country. Although many of our children were removed from abusive and neglectful situations, they still have hope. They love to laugh, to learn, and to be with their friends. Most of all, they dream of finding a forever family to be their own.

Meet the foster children.

• Daisy 11, Joseph 9 & Jasmin 8 Fall for this loving sibling set of three! Daisy is a sweet and adoring big sister who lights up when she spends time with her siblings. She loves to read, sing and watch Disney movies. She likes to be helpful and loves to go to school where she receives special education due to mild mental retardation.
  Joseph is a bright and talkative young man who loves anything outdoors. You will find him riding his scooter or bike, playing outside with his siblings or settling in for a good movie, Spiderman being his favorite. He has many friends and does well academically.
  Jasmin is the beautiful, bubbly baby of the group. She has an outgoing personality and is loved by all. Playing dress up with her dolls and playing outside rate high on her list of favorite activities and she does well in school. • Isaiah, 8 Sweet, affectionate, loving and outgoing, Isaiah is a charming little guy who wants a family more than anything. He craves the love and attention of adults and shines when given that one on one attention. Isaiah is always up for a new adventure and loves to be engaged in physical activities.
  Running, riding his bike and going to the park are his favorites. Fascinated with police officers, he aspires to be one someday. Isaiah was born prematurely and as a result has some delays and mild hearing loss. Combined with special education services at school, he is making great progress in all areas. • Jesus, 14 Jesus is a young man who comes alive in the great outdoors. He loves to stay active with boy scouts, camping, hiking, surfing and running. He is an excellent student, and has been recognized for his academic achievements. This is no small feat for any child, but even more amazing for a child who has experienced his share of heartbreaks.
  In his down time he is an avid reader of mysteries and detective novels. Jesus loves animals and hopes to someday have a dog or a cat of his own. • Samantha, 14 Samantha is known for her great sense of humor and her love of music. She enjoys making others laugh, and is happiest with her headphones on getting lost in her favorite songs. She has experienced her fair share of loss at an early age as she continues to grieve the death of her mother.
  Samantha is a hard worker at school and it is paying off. She is now doing well academically. • William, 9, Kid Darious, 8, Cayleb, 5 and Aaleyah, 2 Meet 4 bonded siblings in 3 different foster homes who all want 1 thing: to live together, forever. William, Kid Darious and Cayleb are protective big brothers of their baby sister Aaleyah. They love to visit one another and gravitate towards their little sister who lights up their faces with smiles and laughter.
  William is a great big brother and role model for his younger siblings. He encourages his siblings to be respectful and always reminds them to use their manners. He is fun, and personable and does well in school.
  Kid Darious is an outgoing young man with an amazing memory, an extensive vocabulary and much potential. Cayleb is charming, and sweet natured. He looks up to his big brothers, has an active imagination and enjoys legos.
  Aaleyah is developmentally on target, healthy and VERY attached to her brothers.
