Every child needs a safe place to land.

Across Idaho, children enter foster care every day — many are teens, and many are siblings who need to stay together. What they need most is a caring adult willing to offer stability, encouragement, and a place to call home.

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare partners with foster parents statewide to provide safe, supportive homes for children who can’t safely remain with their families. You don’t have to be perfect — just willing. If you’re open to providing a safe, loving home, or learning more about how you can help, we’re here to support you.
